Kim’s Animal Rescue is a charity placed close to Almeria, helping to save dogs and cats from the streets, local perreras and from people who no longer can take care of their pets. The charity is private so it doesn’t get any funding from the city and works only on donations.
Kims Animal Rescue gives homes to the unwanted until they find their forever homes and during the last 20 years Kim has rehomed thousands of dogs.
All dogs travel with passport, vaccines, worming, bloodtest, castrated/sterilized and under TRACES.
We rescue abandoned, unwanted, unloved and stray dogs and cats in Spain.
All dogs in our care get the best food and veterinary care possible. Some go into foster homes, but the majority stay in our purpose built kennels.
Our policy is that every dog gets neutered, blood tested for any diseases, issued with a passport and microchip and is fully vaccinated prior to being rehomed
No dog or puppy or cat leaves our care without first a pre adoption questionnaire being completed, then a homecheck carried out.
We charge an adoption fee, which varies depending on the country the animal is travelling to. The adopter pays for any transport costs.
Our charity shop is based in Los Gallardos, above Pets Paradise, and is a major source of funds for Kims Animal Rescue.
We welcome donations of quality, saleable goods – please contact us if you would like to arrange a pickup of larger items.
